Roger Rosentreter, professor of history at Michigan State University and editor of Michigan History Magazine, presents an overview of Michigan's regiments at Gettysburg.

"O Could They But Speak…" Michigan Regiment's Battle Flags
May 2 (Fri.) 1 pm
Kerry Chartkoff, archive specialist and coordinator for the Michigan Capitol tour and information service, and Bill Trevarthen, executive director of Michigan Government TV (MGTV), present the history and importance of Michigan's Civil War battle flags, based on a video produced by MGTV.

The Why and the Wherefore: Music in the Civil War
May 3 (Sat.) 1 pm
Janet Coryell, professor of history at Western Michigan University, provides a musical journey through Civil War lyrics of praise, complaint, patriotism and rebellion.

Dodworth Saxhorn Band
May 4 (Sun.) 2 pm
The 17-member 19th century brass band presents The North and South, performing hymns, dances, popular songs and patriotic melodies on original instruments of the period.
