The Scholastic Art Awards: Michigan Thumb Region

Since 2007, the Lorenzo Cultural Center has partnered with the College for Creative Studies to host the Michigan Thumb Region of the Scholastic Art Awards, adjudicating nearly 2,000 pieces, and displaying over 500 award-winning pieces of art from students in grades 7 through 12, before those awarded top honors move on to the National Scholastic Art Competition in New York.

The Lorenzo Center welcomes field trips and group tours. The Center is accessible to persons with disabilities. Call 586.226.4759 to plan your visit.
