Jennifer Siebel Newsom is a filmmaker, advocate, and president and CEO of the nonprofit organization The Representation Project. Committed to empowering individuals and communities to realize their full potential, Newsom addresses the current climate of American media, its harmful effects on our culture at large, and the impact of media and culture on women's representation in leadership positions. Newsom inspires people of all genders to take action and reminds us all of the power of one individual having the courage to use their voice to effect change. Jen Newsom headshot

Miss Representation - Documentary Showings

Written and directed by Jennifer Siebel Newsom, Miss Representation exposes how the mainstream media and culture contribute to the underrepresentation of women in positions of power and influence. These showings are presented free of charge.
