In toys and games, as with so many fields of endeavor, women’s significant accomplishments have often been overlooked by history. This presentation, with curator Chris Bensch of The Strong Museum, introduces audiences to some of the fascinating female inventors and entrepreneurs behind products such as Candyland, Slinky, Barbie, and Jenga. From adopting new materials for toys to crafting fresh spins on classic games, these nine women have helped change the world of play for all of us.
