Altar Making Workshop

The tradition of altar-making (or Ofrenda) to honor deceased relatives or friends includes colorful displays of flowers, candles and other objects, as well as meaningful items that are significant to the connection with your special person. Bring your supplies and favorite memories of your loved one, and learn how to make an altar to honor them in this workshop at the Lorenzo Center lead by an instructor from the Detroit Institute of Arts.
