We Play! Wednesdays

We Play! Wednesdays are virtual programs related to the Lets Play! Toys, Games & Culture exhibit. Even though our exhibit is closed to the public, you can still experience the fun of toys and games, by attending our virtual program series, We Play! Wednesdays, that takes place at 1pm on Wednesdays in August and September. 

We Play! Wednesdays are free virtural presentations, however, preregistration is required. REGISTER NOW! Upon completing registration, you will be emailed the Zoom link and login directions. 

August 26, 1pm Join author, toy designer and filmmaker Tim Walsh and learn how play can inspire, connect and motivate people in powerful ways. Did you miss this presentation? No worries, watch it now!

September 9, 1pm Have you ever wondered why some toys start as fads and wind up being timeless? Learn the answer with presenter Chris Bensch.

September 16, 1pm Professor and author Mark J.P. Wolf will take us on a journey through the history of video games.

September 23, 1pm Explore the history of one of America's most iconic dolls, in all things Barbie.

September 30, 1pm Discover what made LEGO one of the world's greatest building toys in Mark J.P. Wolf's presentation.
