African Wildlife & Conservation
Come see the variety of African wildlife on display at the Detroit Zoo! Small groups will be taken on a docent-led tour through the heart of the zoo. Afterwards, an old-fashioned BBQ lunch will be served on site, vegan options available upon request. Following lunch, guests will learn about the Detroit Zoo’s conservation efforts from resident zoologist, Lisa Forzley, who will discuss their partnership with the Gorilla Rehabilitation and Conservation Education Center (GRACE) in the Congo.

TICKETS TO EXCURSIONS ARE FINAL, NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES. A $4.50 handling fee per order applies in person, online or by phone. A hot lunch and motor coach transportation that departs from and returns to the Lorenzo Cultural Center is included. The Lorenzo Center will open one hour prior to departure. Please arrive in time to check in; buses leave at listed times.
