About the Presenter: Dr. Michael L. Schwartz, DBA, P.E., PMP, is a former engineer who has transitioned to being a trainer and instructor in people skills. These include topics such as leadership, team building, conflict management and emotional intelligence. Originally from New York City, Michael moved to the Detroit area by way of Indiana. He has primarily worked in ground vehicles and equipment for civilian and defense applications. Having held various positions within the corporate hierarchy, Michael concluded "issues in programs and projects are not from a lack of technical talent, they are from people's inability to work and play well together." His training focuses on people skills to help professionals deal with these issues. Michael is also an author of both fiction and nonfiction works.
