About the Presenter: Ghaida Batarseh Havern is an extension educator for food safety with Michigan State University Extension's Health and Nutrition Institute. Her coverage area includes District 11 (Detroit/Metro Detroit) along with statewide responsibilities. Ghaida received her Bachelor of Science in health sciences, nutrition concentration, from Oakland University and a Master of Science in nutrition and food science from Wayne State University.
