A lively retrospective covering the past 100 years of this former movie palace, known today as The Detroit Opera House, will be presented. Its existence has been threatened in the past, but it has survived wars, the Great Depression, civil unrest, economic meltdowns, the abandonment of downtown, and most recently, a pandemic.

About the Presenter: Michael’s background has included marketing positions with two of Michigan’s major cinema chains and chairing theatre conferences for several historical organizations. Additionally, he has assisted Phoenix Theatres with special projects and is one of the guest hosts for "Secret Cinema" at the Maple Theatre. He currently holds the position of marketing manager for the Detroit Opera House and continues to be a very popular MORE presenter.
