Instructor: Judy Sima
Judy will tell the story of her mother's escape from Germany during the Holocaust and her encounter with the Gestapo, using a Power Point presentation showing documents and photos while describing her research used to create the story. Judy will also provide an opportunity for participants to tell stories of their own parents.
About the Presenter: Judy Sima is an award-winning storyteller, author and educator. She has been featured at conferences, festivals, schools, libraries, religious institutions, and senior groups throughout Michigan and across the country. Judy is considered the Pied Piper of storytelling in Metro Detroit, having introduced many adults and young people to the art of storytelling—including her many admiring MORE attendees.
