Instructor: Lynda Karlis

The study of well-being and gratitude is a relatively new field in psychology. Come learn and explore what the science can tell us about satisfaction, what gives life meaning, and how to incorporate the ideas into our lives. The topics covered will include resiliency, hope and optimism, and gratitude. Gratitude (thankfulness) will be given special emphasis in recognition of Thanksgiving—this is the final MORE class before that holiday.

About the Presenter: Lynda started her career as a school psychologist where she worked in K–12 education for 18 years. In 2008 Lynda began her second (and very satisfying) career as a professor of psychology for Macomb Community College. Her Spring 2023 MORE class was in the top three of popularity with some 80 attendees. Lynda Karlis is back for another strong performance—don't miss it!
