About the Presenter: A Marine Vietnam vet with a Purple Heart who grew up in the south end of Warren, Rufus went on to finish college and become a middle school social studies teacher in Grosse Pointe for 49 years. In May of 2017 after a clandestine and dangerous trip to war-torn Libya, Rufus completed his goal of visiting every country in the world. He then wrote three travel/humor books about his travels and experiences. Rufus is a natural orator who speaks without notes while thoroughly covering this fascinating topic.
