The year 2023 marks the 60th anniversary of the November 22, 1963 assassination of President Kennedy. Former U.S. Secret Service Agent Rad Jones will discuss his experiences while serving as a member of the Secret Service White House detail in the summer and fall of 1963 protecting President Kennedy. While not present the day of the assassination, Agent Jones has unique insights into the life of President Kennedy during his last months.

About the Presenter: Rad Jones retired as special agent in charge of the Michigan Division, U.S. Secret Service. He later retired from his position as manager of Global Security and Fire Protection, Ford Motor Company. He also held the position of instructor and academic specialist, School of Criminal Justice, Michigan State University for 17 years. In 2005 he was inducted into the MSU Criminal Justice Wall of Fame for distinguished service in the field of criminal justice; and in 2009 he was recognized by Security magazine as one of the 25 most influential persons in global security.
