This presentation will include a review of the tragic events in the Oxford High School shooting. A careful analysis of the events and how the school handled this now-controversial situation will be covered in depth. The program will conclude with the lessons that were learned from this experience.
About the Presenter: Dr. Stanczak is a licensed psychiatric social worker with 50 years of experience. He is also licensed as a marriage and family therapist and has worked in the areas of law enforcement, juvenile courts, and as a high school level school social worker. He has experience working with resource officers and courts in situations with troubled youth and is perfectly suited to present this most delicate but highly important topic.
