Instructor: David (D.B.) Schroeder

Twelfth Night is one of Shakespeare’s most beloved comedies. It contains many of Shakespeare’s favorite comedic devices and has a complex plot of unrequited love, mistaken identities, and even a shipwreck! In this class D.B. Schroeder, who is currently directing the play for Shakespeare Royal Oak, will share the process by which a director takes a script from page into performance. He will cover script analysis and general directorial insight and imagination that includes creating a production concept through the rehearsal process. This promises to be an insightful class for theatre lovers past, present and future.
