Instructor: Dib Saab
This class is a timely discussion of Lebanon-a country known for its rich history, diverse culture, and significant contributions to art, music, and cuisine, as well as its location in a sensitive part of the Middle East. In addition, topics of ancient history will be covered, such as Baalbek, home to one of the most celebrated sanctuaries of the ancient world. This walk through time will follow the evolution to modern-day Lebanon, and show how Beirut has become the Paris of the Middle East.
