Back by popular demand, Bob takes us on a trip along the "Mother Road"-U.S. Route 66-from Illinois to California in a classic yellow '57 Chevy Bel Air. Bob and his son traveled this route in his 1957 Chevy, the car he purchased while still in high school. See what this historic route looks like now as well as the old gas stations, motels and restaurants one would have visited "back in the day." Ride along on a rediscovery of this fabled highway-and as the song says, "get your kicks on Route 66!"
About the Presenter: Bob Feldmaier retired from Macomb Community College in 2019 as director, Center for Advanced Automotive Technology and interim dean, Engineering and Advanced Technology. He previously worked as a chief engineer at both Chrysler and Tesla. He holds a BSME from Purdue University and an MBA from Wayne State University and sits on several boards.
