This presentation will feature a discussion on the ways people may be targeted and taken advantage of by criminals. The object of this class is to have a safety-focused discussion on scam prevention with examples of current scams and what to do if you become a victim of a scam.
About the Presenter: Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido serves as Macomb County Prosecutor and Chief Law Enforcement Officer of Macomb County. Before becoming the Macomb County Prosecutor, Mr. Lucido served as a state senator and state representative in the Michigan legislature. He also served as a member of the Michigan Criminal Justice Policy Commission, the Michigan Law Revision Commission, the Michigan Commission on Uniform State Laws, and the Michigan Elder Abuse Task Force. Mr. Lucido has proven to be a stalwart proponent of senior wellness in his community and is a frequent contributor to the MORE program.
