Come to hear stories of little-known Black American men and women, free and enslaved. They were preachers, soldiers, writers, and enslaved workers. All were inspired and inflamed by the radical spirit of the American Revolution. Some escaped to freedom with the British. Others fought for freedom and equality at home. All answered the cry for freedom.
