    About the presentation

    The study of well-being and happiness is a relatively new field in psychology. What can science tell us about satisfaction in life and the means of achieving it?  This class will explore the insights and perspectives of present-day psychology: what gives life meaning.and how best to incorporate these ideas into our lives.

    “About the Presenter: Lynda Karlis started her career as a school psychologist where she worked in K12 education for 18 years. In 2008 she began her second (and very satisfying) career as a professor of psychology for Macomb Community College, including presenting for the MORE Program. After a retirement interlude, with gratitude she is warmly welcomed to continue her very popular lectures for MORE.”
