    About the presentation

We all hear about the effects of climate change, and some of us have direct experience with it in some form. The Earth’s systems are shifting in complex ways. What are the consequences –already known or forecast? How could these developments affect life as we know it, and how soon? What can and is being done in response?

“About the Presenter: Maud Lyon is an avid gardener and grandmother who has become increasingly concerned about the impact of fossil fuels and agricultural practices on our planet. She is an active member of Third Act, an organization of elders who advocate for climate and democracy. Of herself, Maud says, “I’m a good communicator but not a scientist,” but her expertise as a highly regarded community leader belies this modesty. ”
