    The term “Human Trafficking” has been heard in the news more prominently in recent years. What forms does it take? What are some of the warning signs of human trafficking? How does one report a suspected instance of human trafficking? This course illustrates the remarkable, uplifting spirit of an organization doing truly good works for the community – something worthy of being celebrated and supported.

    “About the Presenter: Deb Ellinger is a graduate of Ferris State University and is currently working on her master’s in social work. She is the founder and executive director of Elli’s House, a nonprofit that serves survivors of human trafficking through a residential outreach program focused on the City of Detroit. Deb exemplifies the term “servant leader.””
