  • About the presentation

This program introduces the causes, general history, and aftermath of the Rebellion of 1837 – a pivotal but often overlooked uprising in Canada. While not achieving a complete break with Great Britain, these rebellions did ultimately lead to the formation of the Canadian government. Through research and family records, this class blends broader historical context, offering a personal lens on a turbulent moment in Canadian history.
