    About the presentation

Explore two of Michigan’s most unique and misunderstood native species—the aquatic mudpuppy and the Eastern Massasauga rattlesnake. This program highlights their vital roles in local ecosystems, the challenges they face, and the conservation efforts underway to protect them. Participants will learn how the Detroit Zoo and partners are working to safeguard these species and how community members can contribute to their conservation.
