  • About the presentation

This class picks up from Part I taught in May during the spring session and continues to offer an exploration of film through the early postwar world of the 1950s. The audience will examine the technological, artistic and cultural evolution of cinema, its impact on society and role as a powerful medium of expression. Various elements will be illustrated by reviewing film clips from each decade, with an enjoyable class discussion encouraged.
