    This class is a priceless discourse on the experiences of a secret service agent while protecting six U.S. presidents and foreign heads of state, beginning with the administration of President Kennedy. Insider information on security activities during special events such as the Bicentennial period in 1976 provides insight into how the Secret Service Agency operated at the time and how it relates to present-day security challenges.

    “About the Presenter: Radford retired from the Secret Service as special agent in charge with experiences in presidential protection and protection of foreign heads of state. He also retired as global manager of security and fire protection at Ford Motor Company and worked for 17 years as an instructor and grant administrator with the School of Criminal Justice at Michigan State University. He is the recipient of Secret Service awards for conducting presidential advance security arrangements and the apprehension of a person who attempted to burn themselves in front of the White House.”
